The Genomics England Clinical Interpretation Partnership (GeCIP) community was created to be a thriving, sustainable environment for researchers and clinical (NHS) disease experts and trainees. This community will analyse and constantly refine the clinical interpretation of the 100,000 Genomes Project dataset. There are three overarching aims of the GeCIP community:

• To optimise clinical data and sample collection, clinical reporting and data interpretation for return to clinicians and patients
• To perform research to further improve our understanding of the implications of the findings for genomic medicine in the clinical setting
• To provide a rich training environment for trainees

To successfully pursue these aims requires dedicated support infrastructure, and the development and implementation of processes, policies and guidance surrounding all aspects of the 100,000 Genomes Project, the projects dataset and GeCIP.

I have an account to access the data, what do I do now?

You should have received an email with your username ("Your access to the Genomics England Research Environment") plus a separate email with a link to set your password. These emails include a link to information governance (IG) training, which must be completed before you can access the Research Environment.

Once your training is complete, you will receive an email from the Genomics England Service Desk with a link to the Research Environment. You should log into the Research Environment using the same username and password you used to complete your IG training.

If you have any problems completing any of these steps or using the Research Environment, please submit a ticket to the Genomics England Service Desk.
