The Genomics England Clinical Interpretation Partnership (GeCIP) community was created to be a thriving, sustainable environment for researchers and clinical (NHS) disease experts and trainees. This community will analyse and constantly refine the clinical interpretation of the 100,000 Genomes Project dataset. There are three overarching aims of the GeCIP community:

  • To optimise clinical data and sample collection, clinical reporting and data interpretation for return to clinicians and patients
  • To perform research to further improve our understanding of the implications of the findings for genomic medicine in the clinical setting
  • To provide a rich training environment for trainees

To successfully persue these aims requires a dedicated support infastructure, as well as fully develped and implemented process, policies and guidance surrounding all aspects of the 100,000 Genomes Project and GeCIP. Core documents relating to the The Project and the function of GeCIP can be found using the links below:

All publicly available documentation relation to aspects of the The Project and GeCIP can be found on the Genomics England website.
