Genomics England Service Desk

The service desk is the main point of contact for any enquiries related to Genomics England and the 100,000 Genomes Project. They can be contacted via the Genomics England Service Desk portal.

Please read the recommendations on submitting service desk tickets to ensure that your enquiry is responded to as quickly as possible.

Genomics England GeCIP Coordinators

Within Genomics England there are three coordinators. They are tasked with ensuring a smooth and efficient relationship between Genomics England and GeCIP.

GeCIP Engagement Coordinator - Clodagh McGuire

Clodagh completed a BSc in biology at the University of Bath with a year in industry working for Pfizer. After she graduated she began working in STM publishing working as an editor on a range of journals at BioMed Central, the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologist and the Royal College of Physicians.

Cross-Cutting GeCIP Coordinator - Kate Witkowska

Kate Witkowska

Kate gained her PhD in Physiology at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, characterising novel molecular mechanisms of urate transport before taking a postdoctoral position within the Clinical Pharmacology department at William Harvey Research Institute, Queen Mary University of London where she developed protocols for functional characterisation of candidate genes associated with blood pressure.


 

 

 

Rare Diseases GeCIP Coordinator - Unknown User (fpretty)

Freya completed her PhD in genetics of cardiovascular risk in Steve Humphries’ Cardiovascular Genetics group at UCL. Her research focused on the effect of genetic variation on carotid intima-media thickness and atherosclerosis. She then worked as the Project Manager for StoreGene, a company combining genetic testing with traditional risk factors to provide personalised risk profiles for cardiovascular disease.

GMCs

NHS England has established 13 NHS Genomics Medicines Centres (GMCs) that have been vital in the continuing success of the 100,000 Genomes Project. For more information and to contact a GMC directly please vist the Genomics England website.
